Create the Bot
Navigate to https://discord.com/developers/applications
Select ‘New Application’:
Give the bot a name and agree to Discord’s Terms of Service and Developer Policy:
Complete the Captcha:
Obtain the API Token
Since we do not have an existing token we will create one.
Navigate to ‘Bot’ and click on ‘Reset Token’:
Confirm:
If you do have MFA enabled, enter the 6 digit code:
Copy the token (Note this token is only for demonstration purposes):
Set the Privileged Gateway Intents
Enable the three toggles below:
